Basic Kitchen Cleaning is intended for kitchens that need routine attention rather than extensive deep cleaning. Depending on the agreed scope, it may include cleaning selected kitchen surfaces, removing light grease and food residue, and cleaning accessible exterior surfaces of cooking equipment.

3. What is Stubborn Grease Treatment?

Stubborn Grease Treatment focuses on areas affected by accumulated grease and persistent residue. It may be arranged as a separate targeted cleaning task or included alongside another kitchen cleaning service.

The price depends on the affected areas, the amount of grease, surface condition and the work required.

4. What does Commercial Kitchen Deep Cleaning involve?

Commercial Kitchen Deep Cleaning covers a more thorough clean of agreed kitchen areas. Depending on the premises and quotation, this may include suitable kitchen surfaces, accessible equipment exteriors, kitchen floors, suitable wall surfaces and working areas.

The cleaning scope is assessed on site and confirmed in your quotation before work begins.

5. Do you clean kitchen extraction ducts or dismantle equipment?

Our standard service descriptions do not include internal extraction duct cleaning, equipment dismantling or specialist work that requires separate technical qualifications or equipment. Please describe your requirements when enquiring so we can confirm whether the requested work falls within our service scope.

6. Can I request cleaning for only one area?

Yes. You can request help with a specific kitchen area or a particular grease problem. We will assess the work involved and confirm whether it can be arranged as a standalone service or added to another cleaning visit.

7. How much do your cleaning services cost?

Our current starting prices are:

These are starting prices, not fixed prices for every kitchen. The final quotation depends on the premises size, condition, cleaning requirements, grease levels, accessibility and the time and work involved.

8. Are the advertised prices the final amount I will pay?

No. The advertised figures are indicative starting prices. We need to assess the kitchen and confirm the cleaning scope before providing a final quotation.

Your quotation will explain the agreed work and its price before you decide whether to proceed.

9. Do you provide quotations before starting work?

Yes. We arrange an on-site assessment to understand the premises and cleaning requirements. After the assessment, we provide a quotation setting out the proposed work and price. Cleaning will only proceed after you have accepted the quotation and the appointment has been confirmed.

10. Do I have to pay for a site assessment?

Please contact us to discuss the assessment arrangements when submitting your enquiry. Any charge for an assessment, if agreed, will be explained before the visit is arranged.

11. How do I book a cleaning service?

Submit a request through our Request a Quote page with your business details, premises location and cleaning requirements. We will review your enquiry and contact you to arrange an on-site assessment.

After receiving and accepting the quotation, you can arrange the deposit and appointment with our team.

12. Do you require a deposit?

Yes. For standard bookings, a 20% deposit of the accepted quotation is required to secure the appointment. The remaining 80% balance is payable after the agreed cleaning service has been completed.

13. How can I pay the deposit and final balance?

Payments are arranged and completed offline through direct communication with our team. Our website does not accept or process deposits, service payments or refunds.

We will explain the payment arrangements when your quotation is accepted.

14. When is my booking confirmed?

Your booking is confirmed once you have accepted the quotation, the required deposit has been received and we have confirmed the appointment with you. Submitting an enquiry or receiving a quotation does not by itself reserve a cleaning appointment.

15. Can I change or cancel my appointment?

Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an appointment. Cancellation and refund arrangements are explained in our Cancellation & Refund Policy. Any applicable statutory cancellation rights will take priority over conflicting policy terms.

16. Do you offer one-off and regular cleaning?

Yes. We offer both one-off cleaning visits and regular cleaning arrangements. The frequency and scope can be discussed during the quotation process and agreed according to your business requirements.

17. Can you clean outside normal business hours?

If you need cleaning outside your usual operating hours, please include your preferred times in your enquiry. We will discuss scheduling options and confirm availability before agreeing an appointment.

18. Do I need to prepare the kitchen before your visit?

We may ask you to clear or secure certain items, provide access to the agreed cleaning areas and make sure the working space is available. Any specific preparation requirements will be discussed before the appointment.

19. Do you clean equipment interiors?

Our standard service scope covers accessible exterior surfaces of cooking equipment where suitable. Internal equipment cleaning, dismantling and specialist maintenance are not included unless separately assessed and expressly agreed in writing.

20. Will the kitchen be ready for immediate food preparation after cleaning?

This depends on the agreed cleaning work, the surfaces treated and any relevant drying or preparation time. Your staff should follow the operating and food-handling procedures applicable to your premises before using the kitchen again.

21. Where do you provide services?

Q Kitchen Clean serves Wallington and surrounding areas. We do not offer nationwide coverage. Please provide your premises postcode so we can confirm whether your location is within our service area.
